New Sculptra Buttock and Hip Augmentation
Sculptra has a cult following by celebrities and models alike wishing to augment the buttocks and hips. It is the go-to treatment for anyone that wants to create killer curves, and that hour glass silhouette without painful and invasive surgery.
Sculptra is a dermal filler approved by the FDA since 2004. Its unique quality of stimulating the body’s own collagen can provide an improved lift, appearance, and plumpness. Sculptra has been used by doctors in both the United States and abroad. Recently doctors have discovered uses for Sculptra beyond the face and, in fact, use it to rejuvenate a major part of the lower half of the body with a non-invasive butt lift.Sculptra ultimately restores the youthful contours by providing a significant increase in both volume and skin thickness. Strategically creating collagen in specific areas allows us to sculpt the buttocks and hips; correcting hollows, improving stretch marks, minimizing cellulite, and highlighting your natural contours.
Although the results are achieved gradually, the changes improve over time with repeated treatment. The effects of Sculptra will build up over the course of each treatment, providing a natural and undetectable improvement in the desired area(s). Now you can create more projection, volume, and a subtle lift in as little as 2-3 treatment sessions.
What Is Sculptra?
Sclulptra Aesthetic, also known as Poly-L-Lactic Acid, is a synthetic sugar made up of many individual lactic acid units. Lactic acid is a substance that is found naturally occurring in your body. Sculptrais a safe, synthetic, biocompatible product that creates strategic volume to improve your contours. Unlike traditional fillers, when injected deep into the dermis of the skin, Sculptra stimulates the body’s own collagen. By creating fresh, new collagen and elastin the skin texture as well as volume is significantly improved.
How is Sculptra Injected?
Sculptra comes as a powder that is mixed with sterile water that allows it to be injected. Thismust be done about a weekprior to treatment to ensure proper hydration of the material and accurate dispersion of the product. After your Sculptra session, patients may have some soreness and mild discomfort that can be alleviated with Tylenol. Immediately after your treatment, you will see a sneak peak of the end result; however what you are seeing is just the sterile water that we use to mix the Sculptra into an injectable form. Your body then absorbs this sterile water solution in 24-48 hours leaving behind strategically placed particles of Sculptra, and then the magic happens. Your body’s natural response to the Sculptra is to encapsulate it with biospheres of your own fresh, young collagen.
What to expect
You will not notice the results immediately, so it is not instant gratification. The process of creating volume takes about 6 months in its entirety, however, early results can be seen in as little as 6 weeks. Over the course of your treatments, you will notice gradual correction and improvement of your contours. Following each injection you will need to perform post procedure massage, at Beauty Fix we include this as part of your service. You will be scheduled for you first post-procedure massage 7-10 days following your treatment. This process will help to accelerate the results, as well as ensure the area is smooth. If you are unable to return to the office not to worry, our beauty experts will show you how to perform this massage at home.
Does it hurt?
We add local anesthetic, lidocaine, to the Sculptra mix before we use it making the treatment very comfortable.Overall, there is minimal discomfort for the patient following the procedure. Any typical daily activities should not be affected. The final results take between six weeks to three months to appear.
Like all injections, temporary swelling and bruising may occur.Bruising tends to happen in the treatment area and can take up to two weeks to resolve itself. To help avoid this we recommend you start taking Arnica Montana as well as avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, and omega fish oils a week or two prior to injection.
