Radiofrequency energy offers a wide variety of benefits for the skin. When combined with microneedling, it can help improve the tone, texture and overall appearance of your skin. We use the Morpheus8 machine by Inmode at Flatiron and UES, the Secret RF machine at West Hartford and the Genius by Lutronic Microneedling RF Treatment at Westchester.
The Morpheus8 treatment works by delivering radiofrequency waves deep into the dermis and epidermis with the help of microneedling, treating more than just the skin and reaching a new depth of 4 millimeters.
This treatment helps direct energy to boost collagen and elastin production, leaving you with a smooth, more youthful appearance.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
Avoid skin irritation or intentional sun tanning. Sunscreen is advisable when outdoors during daylight hours. Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment. Arrive for treatment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, make-up, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil present on the skin in the area to be treated.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Immediately after treatment, most patients will experience erythema (redness) for 1-3 days. Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are also common post treatment and may last 1-3 days. Skin may crust and peel for 2-7 days depending on treatment settings. Before discharge, a topical ointment may be applied to the face - no bandages or wraps are necessary. There are no restrictions on bathing except to treat the skin gently; avoid scrubbing or trauma to the treated area. Avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation. The use of a zinc oxide sunblock SPF 30+ is recommended at all times after 24-48 hours. We want you to have a safe and exceptional experience at BeautyFix!
